Eric Thompson had 16 points and 11 rebounds, and John Quintana also scored 16 to lead St. Francis, N.Y., to a 75-66 win over Mount St. Mary's on Tuesday night in the Northeast Conference opener for both teams.
Mike Wilson, who was 5-for-10 from behind the 3-point line, and Tori Cavalieri each had 15 points for the Terriers (2-6), who snapped a four-game losing streak.

Dylan Page scored 25 points and Ed McCants added 21 Tuesday night as Wisconsin-Milwaukee defeated Illinois-Chicago 78-62 in the Horizon League opener for both teams.
Chris Hill added 10 points for the Panthers (5-3), who bounced back from an 89-71 loss to Wisconsin in their last game on Dec. 13.
The Flames (9-3), who upset Northwestern 90-71 last Saturday, were led by Cedrick Banks with 19 points.

It was the first meeting between the teams since the Panthers beat the Flames
75-73 on March 8 in the Horizon League Tournament.
McCants capped an 11-0 run with a 3-pointer with 8:27 remaining in the first half to put the Panthers ahead 26-18.
The Panthers led 44-37 at the half, but the Flames opened the second half with a 9-2 run, capped by a Martell Bailey basket that tied the score at 46.
Hill then hit a 3-pointer with 16:42 left to put the Panthers back on top again for good.
When the Flames pulled within a point at 51-50 on a basket by Justin Bowen with 14:21 left, the Panthers ran off 10 straight points -- seven from Page -- to lead 61-50 and put the game away.
