Brandon Griffin scored 17 points and Southeast Missouri State rallied from a 13-point deficit as the Indians defeated North Texas 75-68 on Monday.
Dainmon Gonner added 15 points and eight rebounds for the Ohio Valley Conference's Indians (6-3), who shot 71 percent from the field -- 17 of 24 -- in the second half and had a 16-0 run.
Derek Winans and
Brett Hale each had 14 points for Southeast.
Shawnson Johnson had 16 points and eight rebounds for the Sun Belt Conference's
Mean Green (4-5), who led 35-24 at halftime. Jerome Rogers added 13 points.
The Indians missed eight of their 11 first-half free throws while North Texas made nine of 11.
North Texas led 37-24 and 44-32 in the second half before Southeast reeled off 16 unanswered points and took the lead. North Texas closed to within 67-66 on a 3-pointer by Michael Jones with 3:18 to go, but the Indians hit five of their last six free throws down the stretch.
Kentucky's yearlong regular-season winning streak is over and Louisville has started a streak of its own against the Wildcats.
No. 20 Louisville limited No. 2 Kentucky to one field goal over the final 5:47 in a 65-56 victory Saturday, snapping the Wildcats' 27-game regular-season winning streak.
Otis George had 13 points and eight rebounds for Louisville (7-1), which won at Rupp Arena for the first time since 1997-98, a season in which Kentucky won the NCAA title. The Cardinals have won seven straight since a season-opening loss to Iowa.
Kentucky (7-1) had not lost a regular-season game since last Dec. 28, when the Wildcats fell 81-63 at Louisville.
