Jason Douisseau scored a career-high 21 points to lead Nebraska to a 75-52 victory over Lipscomb on Monday night.
Nebraska (8-1) took advantage of five turnovers by Lipscomb early to go up 9-0 and was up by 22 points at halftime.
The Bisons (2-6)
had 13 turnovers and allowed seven offensive rebounds to Nebraska in the first
half.
Nebraska came out flat in the second half, going more than five minutes without
a basket. Lipscomb made 13 of its first 18 shots in the half and cut the lead
to 12 but got no closer.
Andrew Drevo added 14 points for Nebraska, while Jake Muhleisen had 12 and Nate Johnson 10.
Brian Fisk led
Lipscomb with 20 points, while James Poindexter had 12.
Marcus Clark and Dedrick Sanders scored 17 points apiece as Stephen F. Austin beat Centenary 70-58 Monday night.
Jasen Gast and Taylor Moore added 12 points each for Stephen F. Austin (7-2) and Antonio Burks had 10.
Centenary's Andrew Wisniewski led all scorers with 27 points, but also had eight turnovers.
Both teams shot poorly in the first half with Stephen F. Austin shooting just 32 percent from the floor and Centenary 23 percent. Centenary (5-3) made just 5-of-22 shots from the floor but hit 14 of 18 free throws and trailed 29-26 at halftime.
The Lumberjacks were 60 percent on field goals in the second half.
