Pittsburgh guard Carl Krauser, the leading scorer for the 16th-ranked Panthers, did not play in Saturday night's game against New Hampshire because of a groin injury.
It was not immediately known when Krauser was injured. A school spokesman said coach Jamie Dixon would address Krauser's situation after the game. Krauser watched the game from the bench in a warm-up suit.
Krauser, selected MVP of last week's Holiday Hoops Tournament, is averaging 15.6 points and has either led or tied for the scoring lead in eight of Pitt's first 11 games this season. He also leads Pitt in assists and is tied for the team lead in steals.
Krauser was replaced
in the lineup by freshman Antonio Graves, who made his first start.
Terry Pettis scored 15 points to lead defensive-minded Fresno State to a 52-43 victory over San Francisco on Saturday.
Fresno State (4-5) held USF to 25.4 percent shooting from the field, five days after limiting Washington State to 23.3 percent in a 46-29 victory.
Andre Hazel led the Dons (8-5) with 17 points and four assists. James Bayless added 13 points and five rebounds.

The Bulldogs led 31-14 at halftime, and maintained a double-digit margin throughout
most of the second half. San Francisco trimmed the lead to 47-43 with 2:24 left
on an 18-foot jumper by Hazel, but Fresno State recovered by making 5 of 6 free
throws down the stretch.
Shantay Legans added 11 points and three assists for the Bulldogs, who shot 37.5 percent. Mustafa Al-Sayyad had seven points and four blocks.
Fresno State played without starting forwards Jonathan Woods and Renaldo Majors, both suspended by coach Ray Lopes for violating team rules. Pettis was playing in only his second game since returning from a seven-game suspension, also for violating team rules.
